HC asks ex-state minister Milon to seek bail from magistrate court

Dhaka, Mar 11 (UNB) - Turning a deaf ear to the plea of anticipatory bail on surrender, the High Court on Thursday asked ex-state minister for education ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon of BNP to surrender to the designated magistrate court within eight weeks in connection with a cell phone snatching case.A division bench comprising Justice MA Wahhab Mian and Justice MA Razzaque, however, directed the court concerned to consider the bail prayer on his surrender. On March 1, Fuad Hossain, a Jubo League worker of Chandpur, lodged the case with Chandpur police station accusing Milon of snatching away his cell phone six years ago.
