Dhaka, Apr 25 (UNB) - BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday said the flame of movement will spread across the country from Sunday if Ilias Ali is not returned by Saturday. He made the remark while addressing a discussion at Jatiya Press Club, organised by the student leaders of the 90’s demanding the return of BNP organising secretary M Ilias Ali, also a former student leader, who along with his driver has been missing since April 17 midnight from the capital.Fakhrul reminded the government of BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s ultimatum to return Ilias and his driver unharmed to their families by April 28 or face a tougher movement from April 29.He said the government thought that the movement in Sylhet against the construction of the Tipaimukh Dam by India can be stopped by making Ilias disappeared. “But they're living in fool’s paradise, as the people of Sylhet have turned even angrier against the construction of the dam following the disappearance of Ilias,” the BNP leader said.Chaired by former DUCSU VP Amanullah Aman, the discussion was addressed, among others, by former student leaders, including Shamsuzzman Dudu, Asaduzzaman Ripon, Fazlul Huq Milon, Nazimuddin Alam, Habibur Rahman Habib, Khairul Kabir Khokon, Mustafizur Rahman Babul, Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee, Habibun-Nabi Khan Sohel, Saifuddin Ahmed Moni and Khandaker Lutfar Rahman, JCD president Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Supreme Court Bar Association president Zainul Abedin and National Press Club general secretary Syed Abdal Ahmed.
