Kishoreganj, May 3 (UNB) – A schoolgirl was killed in a road accident on Kishoreganj-Bhairab highway at Sagra in sadar upazila on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Ireen, 12, a student of class III at Sagra Primary School and daughter of Abdus Salam of the upazila.Police and locals said a truck ran over Ireen when she was crossing the road leaving her dead on the spot at about 12:30pm.Kishoreganj thana OC Meer Mosharraf Hossain said they seized the vehicle but its driver however, managed to escape.
