Firearms, bullets recovered in Dinajpur

Dinajpur, May 9 (UNB) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered two firearms and two bullets from frontier Katla village in Birampur upazila early Tuesday.Havilder Hafiz of Battalion-40 of BGB said acting on a tip-off, they conducted a drive at the house of Jasimuddin at the village in the wee hours and recovered a pistol, an air gun and two rounds of bullet.However, no one was arrested in this connection as Jasim fled the house sensing the presence of the border guards.A case was filed in this connection.
