Terrorist arrested with arms in Jessore

Jessore, May 31 (UNB) - Police arrested an alleged terrorist along with a 9mm pistol, one magazine and four rounds of bullet from Kharki Kalabagan area of the district town on Wednesday.The arrestee was identified as Arafat, son of Mizanur Rahman of Kharki Circuit House area of the town.Police said on secret information they conducted a drive in the area and arrested Arafat along with the firearm and bullets in the afternoon. Police also recovered one bottle of phensidyl from his pocket.Police said notorious terrorist Arafat as per previous contract came to the area for selling the pistol.A case was filed against him under Arms Act.
