Tk 202.68 cr BOU budget announced

Dhaka, July 1 (UNB) - Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has announced its budget amounting to Tk 202.68 crore for the 2012-2013 financial year.Of the total budget, Tk 139.23 crore have been allocated for revenue sector while Tk 63.45 crore for development sector.The budget was approved at a meeting of the BOU Board of Governors at the Dhaka City office of the BOU vice-chancellor on Saturday, said a press release on Sunday.The University Grants Commission (UGC) will provide Tk 24.38 crore as the government grant which is 17.51 percent of the revenue budget. BOU will arrange Tk 114.61 crore, which is 82.32 percent of the revenue budget, from its own source.
