US CDC team calls on DU VC

Dhaka, Sept 18 (UNB) – A seven-member delegation of Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), USA called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office on Tuesday..During the meeting they discussed the matters of mutual interests especially regarding possibilities of establishing MS course in ‘Applied Epidemiology’ in Dhaka University, said a DU release.The team members, led by Dr. Peter B. Bloland, Director, Division of Public Health Systems and Workforce Development, CDC, assured the Vice-Chancellor of providing all possible assistance and cooperation to open this programme.The vice-Chancellor thanked the guests for their visit to and interest in academic programmes of Dhaka University.
