10 injured in RMG workers’ attack in Gazipur

Gazipur, Jan 12 (UNB) - At least officials of a garment factory were injured in an attack by the workers at Rajendrapur in sadar upazila Tuesday.

Police said the workers of Zahin Tex factory of the Givency Group went on work abstention and demonstrated to realize their demand for increasing their wages.

At one stage, the unruly workers attacked officials of the factory, leaving 10 injured.

The injured were given treatment at a local health center.
