Man found dead in Benapole border

Benapole, Jan 20 (UNB) - Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from Durgapur frontier village under Benapole port thana Monday.

Being informed by local farmers, police recovered the body, aged 40, in the afternoon.

The body, which bore several injury marks was sent to hospital morgue for autopsy.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police and local people suspected that BSF men killed him after torture and left the body there.
