TARA TV launches Indo-Bangladesh Dialogue

Dhaka, Jan 27 (UNB) - Indian TV channel TARA TV is going to launch a new dialogue programme to rediscover and reinforce a South Asian identity based on a shared history, civilization and culture to work towards a common future.

The programmed titled ‘Indo-Bangladesh Dialogue’ will be broadcast every Friday and Sunday.

Lawmaker Mayeen Uddin Khan Badal will host the dialogue show to be participated by political leaders, political scientists and experts on South Asian developments, and performers from both the countries in several discussions.

This was disclosed at a press conference at the National Press Club Wednesday.

“The Indo-Bangladesh Dialogue will be broadcast on TARA Newz, owned by Broadcast Worldwide, aiming to enhance the interaction between the people of Bangladesh and India as both countries have a long common culture, economic and political history,” said Badal while speaking at the press conference.

Broadcast Worldwide Chairman Rathikanta Basu, Senior Vice President of TARA Newz Dr Rohit Basu, Rubana Huq of TV Southasia, Country Representative of Broadcast Worldwide Nadim Qadir and Prof Dr Syed Anwar Hossain of Dhaka University also addressed the press conference.
