News - PM Hasina leaves for Kuwait Sunday on 3-day visit to the Gulf state
Dhaka, Feb 4 (UNB) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves Sunday for Kuwait on a three-day state visit to the Arabian country.
The Prime Minister will fly at 2 pm by a special aircraft sent by the Emir of Kuwait.
She will pay a call on Emir Sabah IV Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Monday morning at Dewani Emir.
Later in the day, the PM will hold meetings with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwait National Assembly Speaker Jassem Al-Kharafi, Kuwait Fund for Development director-general Abdulwahab Al Bader, Kuwait Investment Authority
managing director Bader M Al Sa'ad, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Sheikh Jaber al Mubarak al Hamad al Sabah, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah.
Hasina will then visit the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce where she will have lunch with Minister of Commerce Ahmad Baqer Al-Abdullah.
On Tuesday, the Prime Minister will visit Kuwait Oil Company at Ahmedya and attend luncheon hosted by Governor of Ahmedya. She will also attend a community reception in the evening.
She will leave Kuwait the same evening by the special flight and return to Dhaka early Wednesday.
