News - Four agreements signed with Kuwait
Kuwait, Feb 8 (UNB) - Four agreements were signed between Bangladesh and Kuwait during Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to the oil-rich Gulf country on Monday.

The agreements are on Cultural Promotion, Joint Commission, Economic and Technical Cooperation and Promotion of Tourism.

Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni singed the first two agreements while Labour and Employment Minister Engineer Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and State Minster for Forest and Environment Dr Hasan Mahmud penned the two other accords.

The agreements were signed following Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s meeting with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

Details of the agreements were not immediately available.

Later, Sheikh Hasina had an exclusive meeting with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah.

During the hour-long meeting that began at 7pm local time, they discussed bilateral issues.
