Ex-power secretary Gopi Mohan Mondal passes away

Dhaka, Feb 11 (UNB) - Former power secretary Gopi Mohan Mondal died at a hospital in the Canadian city Montréal on Tuesday. He was 69.

Mondal left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He had long been suffering from lung-related diseases.

He served various important posts in different division and Ministry, including Field Administration, Establishment, ERD and Commerce Ministry.
