Dhaka, Feb 13 (UNB)-Main opposition BNP will join the parliament session tomorrow (Sunday), belying uncertainty about their return to the House following their latest walkout staged Thursday.

The session will resume at 3pm.

Talking to UNB over phone tonight (Saturday) opposition chief whip Zainul Abdin Farooque said, “We’ll join session tomorrow (Sunday) to protest against the home minister’s indecorous remarks about Ziaur Rahman and demand retraction of her statement.”

On Thursday, BNP and its allies Jamaat and BJP, ending their long boycott, had joined the current session of the ninth parliament after a 10-month standoff.

But, the opposition lawmakers on Thursday evening walked out as they were not allowed to speak on point of order against the Home Minister's remarks calling the late President Ziaur Rahman 'khuni' (murderer) during her statement over Rajshahi University violence.
