Trading through Benapole land port suspended for 3 days

Benapole, Feb 28 (UNB)- Trading through the land port remained suspended for the last three days till Sunday due to holidays in both Bangladesh and Indian sides.

Port officials said hundreds of trucks loaded with goods and perishable commodities were stranded on both sides of the land port.

Trading through the land port remained suspended here on Friday due to weekly holiday and on Saturday for Eid-e-Miladunnabi holiday.

Petrapole C&F Association official Kartik Chandra Dey said export-import remained suspend Sunday due to their Holi festival.
