Madrassah student dies falling down from second floor

Sylhet, Mar 3 (UNB) – A student of Jameya Islamia Kouria Islamabad Madrassah in Biswanath upazila died from falling down from the second floor of the institution on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mojahidul Islam alias Badal Mia, 22, son of late Rashed Mia of
Lalasram village in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj and class IX student of the madrassah.

Madrassah sources said Badal at 4pm went to bring his cap which he kept on the iron railings of the second floor for drying. But suddenly he slipped over on the ground and died instantly.

Victim’s brother Babul Mia filed a UD case in this connection.
