Dhaka, Mar 5 (UNB) - Three workers were killed and nine others injured in a gas cylinder explosion at Apex tannery in city’s Hazaribagh Friday morning.

Police said the gas cylinder exploded at about 7:30 am, leaving two of the workers - Dulal and Shah Alam - dead on the spot and injuring 10 others.

Among the injured Sulaiman died at Shikder Medical College Hospital.

Nine injured workers were admitted to different city hospitals.
