Khaleda visits her nephew’s house to see deceased Koli

Dhaka, Mar 10 (UNB)- BNP chairperson and Leader of the Opposition Khaleda Zia Wednesday visited her nephew’s Gulshan residence to see deceased wife of her nephew Ayesha Islam Koli.

Koli (38), wife of Shahrin Islam Tuhin, son of Khaleda’s elder sister, died at a hospital in Dubai on Monday. Her body reached Dhaka this morning, according to the party sources.

Khaleda spent some time with the bereaved family members and consoled them. She also took part in a doa seeking divine blessing for the departed soul of Ayesha Islam Koli.

BNP leaders Selima Rahman, Shirin Sultana and Syeda Asfia Ashrafia Papia accompanied Khaleda Zia during her visit.

Koli was buried at the city’s Banani graveyard after namaj-e-janaza at Gulshan Azad mosque after Johr prayers.
