News - Outstanding cricketer Raqibul retires
Dhaka, Mar 10 (UNB) - National Cricket team player Raqibul Hasan, 22, has decided to retire from cricket.

He conveyed in writing his intention to BCB Operation Manager today (Wednesday) without giving any reason.

Media Manager of BCB Rabid Imam told UNB tonight that they are trying to contact Raqibul to know his mindset but failed.

Middle order batsman Raqibul was included in the Bangladesh test squad against England to be played in Chittagong.

In the preparatory match on Tuesday Raqibul scored century in the 1st innings and half-century in the 2nd innings.
