Week long art exhibition to start in city Friday

News - Week long art exhibition to start in city Friday

Dhaka, Mar 11 (UNB) - A week long group art exhibition titled “Gravity of Art 2010” will begin at Drik Gallery in city’s Dhanmondi tomorrow (Friday).

Eminent artist Abdul Barq Alvi will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest while renowned artist Shishir Bhattacharjee to attend as special guest. Art works of artists Sarfuddin Ahmed of India, Nurun Naher Shupti, Farhana Yasmin and Tariq Julfiker of Bangladesh will be put on display at the exhibition.

The exhibition, organized by a group of artists, will remain open to all from 3pm to 5pm daily.
