11 Indian nationals held for trespass through Satkhira border

Satkhira, Mar 11 (UNB) - BDR arrested eleven people trespassed into Bangladesh from India through the porous border of Satkhira on Wednesday.

They identified as Shameem Ghorami, Sagor Roy, Bidhan Shah, Kalipada Shah, Ashutosh Samazder, Ashutosh Halder, Paban Ghorami, Poly Ghosh, Dipali Mandal, Rehana Begum, Chhabiran Bibi and Sarowar Hossain.

They claimed Bangladeshi nationality and hail from Bagerhat, Pirojpur and Gopalganj districts. They went to India four months ago without valid document in search of better employment.

The intruders were handed over to Police for investigation and legal action.

Earlier on Monday night, 8 Indian nationals were arrested for entering into Bangladesh without valid documents, police said.
