Dhaka, Mar 11 (UNB) - Turning a deaf ear to the plea of anticipatory bail on surrender, the High Court on Thursday asked ex-state minister for education ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon of BNP to surrender to the designated magistrate court within eight weeks in connection with a cell phone snatching case.

A division bench comprising Justice MA Wahhab Mian and Justice MA Razzaque, however, directed the court concerned to consider the bail prayer on his surrender.

On March 1, Fuad Hossain, a Jubo League worker of Chandpur, lodged the case with Chandpur police station accusing Milon of snatching away his cell phone six years ago.
