Rajshahi Kasba High School moves into semis of National School Hockey

Dhaka, Mar 11 (UNB) - Rajshahi Kasba High School smartly booked the last semifinal berth of the Ecstasy 6th National School Hockey Tournament with a massive 12-0 victory over Bandarban Don Bosco High School at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium here today (Thursday).

Earlier, Dhaka Armanitola High School, Dinajpur Municipal High School and Jessore Municipal Preparatory School confirmed their semifinal berth.

In the semi, Dhaka Armanitola High School will play Dinajpur Municipal High School on Friday while Rajshahi Kasba High School will meet Jessore Municipal Preparatory School on Saturday, both at 4 pm at the same venue.

The final match will be held on Sunday (Mar 14) at 3 pm. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will be the chief guest in the final while CEO of the meet sponsors Ecstasy Tanjimul Haque will be the special guest.

In the day’s match, Kasba High School dominated the first half by 5-0 goals.

Masud Rana scored four goals, Billal Hossain two goals while Rubel Kumar, Mahbubul Alam, Hasin Arman, Fazle Hossain, Sohag Milan and Asgar Ali netted one goal each for the winners.

In the day’s other match, Chittagong University College (School Wing) came from behind to beat Patuakhali Latif Municipal School by 4-1 goals after leading the first half 3-1.
