Dhaka, Mar 13 (UNB) - The Spanish government will award internationally renowned artist Monirul Islam.

He will be honoured with the ‘Cross of Officer of the Order of Queen Isabella’ in recognition of his outstanding contribution to promoting cultural ties between Spain and Bangladesh.

Spanish Ambassador Arturo Perez Martinez will confer the award on Monirul Islam at his residence tomorrow (Sunday), said a press release.
