Moderate tremor jolts country

Dhaka, Mar 13 (UNB) - A moderate tremor jolted the capital city and different parts of the country early Saturday with no reports of casualties or damage.

The 5.4 magnitude earthquake was felt in Dhaka, Chittagong, Bandarban, Rangamati and some other parts of the country at 5 hours 19 minutes 56 seconds BST.

The quake originated in Myanmar region. Its epicenter was 387 km from Bangladesh Meteorological Department Seismic Center at Agargaon in the capital.
