Bukola brace guides Mohammedan SC to 3-1 win over Ctg Abahani

Dhaka, Apr 19 (UNB) - A double strike by Nigerian striker Alamu Bukola Olalekin powered Mohammedan SC to a 3-1 goals win over Chittagong Abahani Limited in the day’s lone match of the Citycell Bangladesh League at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong on Monday.

With this win, Mohammedan SC secured 45 points, while Chittagong Abahani remained at 17 points, both playing 17 matches.

In the day’s match, Bukola scored two goals in the 45th and 64th minutes while striker Zahid Hasan Emily netted one goal in the 37th minute for the winners, who led the first half 2-0.

Ronny scored the lone goal for the losers in the 52nd minute.

Tuesday’s match: Rahmatganj MFS vs Sheikh Russell KC at 4 pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
