Indian motor parts seized in Benapole

Benapole, July 5 (UNB) - Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) seized Indian motor parts worth Tk 5 lakh at Namajgram village here on Sunday noon.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rifles Battalion-22 conducted a drive at the village and seized the motor parts of Indian Tata Company.

Sensing the presence of the border guards, the smugglers managed to flee the scene leaving the motor parts carton behind.

The seized motor parts were handed over to Benapole Customs House.
