Youth killed under wheels of a train in Sirajganj

Sirajganj, July 13 (UNB) - An unidentified young man traveling on an inter-city train was killed under the wheels of the train at Mulibari in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

Police quoting witnesses said the youth, aged about 22, suddenly fell from a bogey of the capital-bound train--Silk City-coming from Rajshahi, leaving him dead on the spot at about 10:30am.

However, it could not be known immediately how he fell down from the running train, police said.

Police recovered the body and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.

A case was filed with GRP thana in this connection.
