Dhaka, Jul 22 (UNB)-An agreement between Bangladesh and Morocco on cooperation in Science and Technology was singed at state guest house Padma today (Thursday).
Mohammad Abdur Rob Hawlader, Secretary of Science, Information, Communication and Technology Ministry and Moroccan ambassador Mohammad Houroro signed the agreement on behalf of their respective governments, said a press release.
Ministry of Science and ICT of Bangladesh and Scientific Research and Technology Affairs Ministry of Morocco will implement the agreement that was signed for five years.
Under the agreement, there will be exchange of scientists, researchers, technical experts, scientific and technological documents and information, joint arrangement of technological seminars, symposiums, workshops and exhibitions, joint research on science and technology and exchange of its results, the release said.
Mostafa Kamal, acting secretary of Foreign Ministry, Dr. AKM Asaduzzaman, joint-secretary of Science and ICT Ministry, among others, were present on the occasion.
