News - Govt office time 9 am to 3-30 pm during Ramadan
Dhaka, July 29 (UNB) - The government office timing from 9 am to 3-30 pm for the month of holy Ramadan was fixed at the cabinet meeting today presided by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

All government, semi-government, autonomous, and semi-autonomous offices will function from 9 am to 3:30 pm during the Ramadan with 15 minutes break for Zohr prayer from 1-15 pm.

Commercial banks, insurance companies, other financial institutions, post office, railways, hospitals, nationalized industries, and essential services would fix their own office timing as per their rules.

Supreme Court and other courts under its jurisdiction would fix their office time by the Supreme Court.
