News - Jamaat leader Sayedee faces case of crimes against humanity
Dhaka, Aug 2 (UNB)-The Chief Prosecutor Monday submitted another application with the International Crimes Tribunal through its registrar seeking issuance of warrant of arrest against Jamaat leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee in connection with crime against humanity case.

Sayedee is already detained in several other criminal cases.

“War crimes-suspect Sayedee should be arrested or detained in the interest of fair and effective investigation into the allegations against him, the application said.

After getting registration of the complaint case, the tribunal fixed August 4 for hearing on the application, said registrar Shahinur Islam.
