Sylhet, Aug 4 (UNB)- In a rare height of insolence, a student of Govt Tibbiya College sued its principal for dissolving the students union of the college.

And the court taking cognizance of the case ordered for issuing summons against the Principal, Hakim A K Sayef Ahmed Khan, and 11 others directing them to appear in person before the court on September 27.

Akter Hossain, VP of the college students union, filed the case accusing the principal of illegally interfering in the affairs of the students union in collusion with his rivals.

College sources said the students union was dissolved in view of stiff rivalry among its leaders posing a violent situation vitiating the academic atmosphere.
