Indian cloths seized in Benapole
Benapole, Aug 10 (UNB) - A team of BDR seized Indian cloths including sarees worth Tk 1 crore from a Dhaka-Kolkata bus at check post area here on Monday noon.
BDR sources said acting on secret information, a BDR team recovered 59 bags containing Indian sarees and three piece-sets kept in different places of the bus.
But none was arrested in this connection.
Later, the Indian goods were deposited to Benapole Custom’s House.
A case is filed in this connection.
