Shariatpur, Aug 10 (UNB) - Two siblings were found dead in a pond near their house at Char Mahishkhali village in Goshairhat upazila on Tuesday.

On information, police recovered the bodies of Nirob, 5, and his sister Rajani, 3, children of Foisal Sarder of same village, in the morning.

Police said Foisal, a shopkeeper, returned home late Monday night from his shop and found his two children missing at that time. Later, he found the bodies of his two children floating in the nearby pond.

Police suspected that someone killed them by throwing them into the pond Monday night.
