News - Four Bangladeshis killed in Dubai fire
Dhaka, Aug 12 (UNB)-Four Bangladeshi nationals were killed in fire at the AFNAN Perfumery in Dubai Quoz Industrial Area Tuesday late night.

The victims are: Abdul Kadir, son of Idris Ali, Sylhet; Passport No: X 0759824, Md. Sunam Uddin, son of Riazuddin, Moulvi Bazar, Passport No. B 1433901, Sumon, son of Alauddin Sardar, Shariatpur, Passport No A 0295098 and Rahim, son of Adam Ali, Chandpur, Passport No. E1155427 .

A Foreign Ministry release Thursday said the bodies of the victims have reportedly become charred and are beyond recognition without DNA tests of their NOKs, which Dubai police discourages and has sought the Consulate's and their NOK's understanding about this.

The release said the Bangladesh Mission IN UAE is pursuing with the Dubai government to secure compensation for the deceased and is in touch with local agencies for further development.
