Mobile court fines 14 shops in Barisal city

Barisal, Aug 13 (UNB) - A mobile court in a drive fined 14 shop owners for using banned polythene shopping bags in the city on Thursday.

The mobile court led by executive magistrate Maksuda Khandakar fined the shops at Nathullabad Madrassah Kitchen Market at noon.

The court fined shop owners Ainal, Shahid, Akash, Alam, Delwar, Firoj, Zafar, Mozammel, Farid Tk 500 each and vegetable traders, Mamun, Belal, Jamal, Selim Tk 200 each and chicken trader Sohag Tk 1,000.
