Dhaka, Aug 15 (UNB) - Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will distribute training and sports gears to country’s leading cricket teams free of cost to extend modern training facilities to young and talented cricketers.

The BCB has decided to provide necessary training and sports gears initially to six national cricket league teams and twelve metropolis premier division cricket clubs from this year.

BCB director cum chairman of the Tournament Committee Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu earlier proposed to give logistic support to cricket playing teams, most of which are not financially sound. BCB approved the proposal.

Later, the national age group teams and GP-BCB national cricket academy team will also be considered for the BCB support.

Some 32 types of materials and gears will be procured for the purpose, most of which will be imported from Australia and England.
