Chittagong, Aug 21 (UNB) - Students of Chittagong Nursing College on Saturday confined their principal and other teachers to realize their several demands.

The demands include holding examinations timely, eradication of session jam, adequate lab facilities and supply of books in library and security in campus.

They took out a procession and later confined the principal Binu Rani Das and some other teachers at the principal’s office room by putting the room under lock for two hours from 12 noon.

They set them free as Assistant Director (Admin) of Chittagong Medical College Hospital Saroj Kumar and Assistant Director (Hospital) Dr Abdul Mannan rushed to the spot and assured them of solving their problems.

Students alleged that the first year terminal examinations are yet to be held though the academic session 2008-09 ended earlier.
