Saad named Manager of Bangladesh Cricket team till World Cup 2011

Dhaka, Aug 23 (UNB) - Tanjib Ahsan Saad has been named as Manager of Bangladesh National Cricket team till ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The World Cup Cricket 2011 begins on February 19 in Dhaka, co-hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The decision was taken at a BCB board of directors meeting on Sunday.

The BCB meeting also approved that Metropolis Premier Division Club teams will be entitled to recruit or register maximum five foreign players having first class status but only two of them will be allowed to play in match in the premier and twenty20 cricket league.

The BCB also decided to hold its AGM on October 24 and approved former national cricketer Enamul Haque Moni and Nadir Shah as ICC field umpires and Sharfuddowla Ibne Shahid Saikat as ICC TV umpire.
