3 Highway robbers arrested in Bandarban ; arms recovered

Bandarban, Aug 24 (UNB) - Police and army personnel arrested three highway robbers from Khanshama Para area in sadar upazila of the district Monday evening.

The identities of the dacoits could not be known immediately.

Acting on secrete information that a gang of 6 bandits were waiting on Rohanchhori-Bandarban road for bus and goods loaded trucks to commit robbery police and army reached there and arrested 3 dacoits while three others managed to flee.

Police said one Pistol, 6 motorcycles and huge bullets were recovered from their possession.
