Rainfall activity may increase

Dhaka, Aug 24 (UNB) - Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Dhaka, Khulna and Barisal divisions in next 24 hours till
6pm tomorrow (Wednesday).

Moderately heavy to heavy falls are also likely at places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, Met Office said.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 6:23pm and rises on Thursday at 5:38am.

Country’s highest temperature 35.4 degree Celsius was recorded today at Jessore and lowest 25.0 degrees at Rajshahi.
