Dhaka, Aug 25 (UNB) - A minor girl and another principal of a kindergarten were killed in separate incidents, one in drowning and another in road accident, in Thakurgaon and Chittagong on Wednesday.
In Thakugaon, Aduri, 8, class II student of a primary school, and daughter of Abul Kashem of Gedura-Kismat village of Haripur upazila, drowned in a nearby canal of her house while washing grasses at about 9am.
UNB Chittagong Correspondent said: A kindergarten principal, Delwar Hossain, 60, died in a road accident at Choto Kumira on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Sitakunda upazila.
Family sources said Delwar, Principal of SI Chowdhury Institute at Choto Kumira, died on the spot at 6am when hit by a bus while he was returning his home at Gul Ahmed area after offering Fajar prayer.
