Mother, daughter killed in road accident in Bogra

Bogra, Aug 25 (UNB) - A woman and her minor daughter died when hit by a bus on Bogra-Rangpur highway at Thengamara in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said an unidentified woman, aged about 35, and her daughter met the accident tragic end while crossing the road at noon, leaving them killed on the spot.

Police recovered the bodies and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy.

The bus driver along with his vehicle fled away following the incident.
