Dhaka, Aug 25 (UNB) - Iranian coach Mohammad Ali Akbar will arrive in the city on September to take charge of Abahani Limited, the hattrick champions of the Bangladesh League.

The club has decided to bring a new foreign coach to strengthen coaching ahead of the new season’s domestic meets, said Satyajit Das Rupu, the Abahani team manager.

He, however, said that experienced coach Amalesh Sen, under whom Abahani Limited won the hattrick league crowns, would remain as assistant coach.

Meanwhile, Abahani Limited will go to Assam, India on September 5 to take part in the Bordolai Trophy.

The club began its practice on August 20 with 21 booters for the domestic meets ahead of the new season.
