News - Cabinet meeting congratulates Hasina for being named one of top 10 women leaders of world

Dhaka, Aug 30 (UNB) - The cabinet meeting Monday congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the Time Magazine’s recognition of her as one of the ten top women leaders of the world.

Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury moved a proposal of felicitation at the cabinet meeting and congratulated the Prime Minister on her farsighted and wise leadership in establishing peace and eliminating militancy in the country and beyond.

PM’s press secretary Abul Kalam Azad told reporters that the proposal was adopted with gratitude to the Prime Minister.
