4 tribal terrors held with arms in Rangamati

Rangamati, Aug 30 (UNB)- Four persons, including two young women, arrested overnight with arms at Naniarchar were sent to jail hajot when produced before the court today.

They are Jyotika Chakma, 20, Itong Chakma, 22, of Hill Women’s Federation and Binoy Chakma, 19, and Jatna Chakma, 16 of United Peoples Democratic Front.

Police said on secret information, they with assistance from the army personnel raided the UPDF office at Naniarchar at midnight and seized two firearms hidden inside the party office. Four persons found there were taken into custody and an arms case was filed against them.
