Unidentified youth stabbed to death by unknown assailants

Dhaka, August 30 (UNB) - An unidentified youth, aged about 22, was stabbed to death by unknown criminals at Sabujbah area in city on Monday night.

Hospital sources said assailants stabbed the youth with sharp weapon in his abdomen and left him on Biswa Road near Kamalapur Rail station at TT Para in Sabujbagh at around 8:40pm.

Later two passers-by, who identified themselves as Hossain, 25, and Bidyut, 28, rushed the victim to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where attending physicians declared him dead at 9:25pm.

The duo left after admitting him to the DMCH.

His body has been kept at the morgue of the hospital.

No case was filed.
