Comilla, Aug 31 (UNB) - Train services on Dhaka-Chittagong route was hampered for about three hours due to derailment of a train near Sadar Rasalpur rail station in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

Rail sources said one bogey of a capital bound goods-laden train from Chittagong went off the track at about 8:15am, which disrupted the train services.

The train services, however, resumed at about 11:15am as a relief train from Akhaura rushed to the spot and rescued the derailed bogey.

Shamsul Alam, Assistant Executive Engineer of Comilla Station, attributed faulty rail line for the accident.
