Dhaka, Sept 2 (UNB) - Textile and Jute Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui on Thursday expressed his dissatisfaction over the progress of implementation of different development projects under his ministry.

The Minister expressed his dissatisfaction at a project review meeting at his Ministry in the afternoon.

During the meeting, Latif Siddiqui said: “I do not want to take responsibility of projects’ failure; I want to see the progress in implementation of the projects.”

Reminding the duty of public officials, the Minister said the officials have been receiving various facilities from the State, but, they could not implement the projects within the stipulated time due
to lack of sincerity.

The Minister asked the officials to implement the development projects in the textile and jute sectors as quickly as possible.
