College girl abducted from Dhaka rescued from Chandpur
Chandpur, Sept 2 (UNB) - A college girl allegedly abducted from Dhaka city was rescued by RAB after six days from a house in Chandpur town today.
Abductor Obaidullah claimed that Nusrat Jahan Nupur had eloped with him from Uttara on August 27 and they are already married. During initial interrogation Nusrat also admitted that they lived as husband and wife.
RAB held the couple from the house of Billal Dhali. Obaidullah, 28, hails from Bagjhara village of Nazirpur upazila in Pirojpur district. He met with Nupur at Uttara and became friends.
Nuupur is 1st year student of a private college, Her father Mukhlesur Rahman had informed Uttara thana about the missing of his daughter. Later he came to know from conversation on mobile phone that she was staying in Chandpur town. A GD was filed with Chandpur thana upon which RAB raided the house of Billal.
The couple was handed over to Chandpur thana.
